Green with envy

I spent most of yesterday watching my ugly old 1973 Lotus Elan +2 turn into a piece of art.
The painter, known for his incredible Porsche paint work honored me with his talents.

I don't know....why do you ask? Do you prefer the putrid red color?

HHI944 03-23-2014 12:00 PM

The red looks dead on OEM Calypso Red.

Easy tiger? Do you feel somehow threatened by a direct question?

To everyone else enjoying this thread, I picked the color based simply on my taste.
The color actually matches the green on the hood badge.

I plan to let the paint rest for a month or two before reassembly but I will take pictures as I start the process.

I call BS on the whole thing, clearly there is some yellow tape on the front wheel
how can you explain that it didn't get painted?
of all people, Henry should know that the proper color for any Lotus is Putrid Red!
Jeff
