NASA would love to able to be able to announce to the world there is life on Mars. They would throw a big press announcement have a bigger party. It would be a monumental announcement.

So maybe the face on the Plains Of Cydonia is evidence of some intelligent construction after-all (??)

NASA has already taken a shotgun hit in the stomach a few years back when they prematurely announced(without independent confirmation) that some sort of microbial fossil was found inside a rock. Subsequently, it proved to be false.

With no discernible/negligible water, lack of real atmosphere, no methane, no magnetosphere, no volcanic activity, Mars for all intents and purposes is DOA(dead on arrival). The probability of ever terra-forming it in the future when we finish trashing this place is possible...about as possible as flipping a coin a million times, and each time it lands on heads.

With the first word being "unidentified" in UFO, speculation as to what it may(such as stealth aircraft, lids thrown in the air from trash cans, etc) or what it may not be is best left to the National Enquirer.

99% of what is read today in the "news" is pure shyte...but the entities which have the financial interests don't care if the message is garbage...just as long as we watched another truck commercial, etc, they got their money.
