Out of all the vehicles I've owned and gotten rid of, the only one I truly regret selling is my '66 CJ5.

When you have three kids you need a four door weiner mobile for girls. But thanks for the input.

When I was growing up many parents had a station wagon, now replaced by a mini van. The wrangler unlimited has a place. It,s for minivan people who don,t want the cool sucked out of them.
If you are looking for a mall crawler you can also consider a Hummer.

I bought my Jeep new in '95. I've had more memories, good times and adventures in this Jeep than I could possibly tell here. If I had to sell it or my 911 SC, it would be a really, really hard choice which one would go!

I'd take a Land Rover LR4 over the 4 door unlimited. A buddy of mine has a black 2 door Rubicon that's amazing. Just a great looking (from all angles) Jeep. I would like one as a fun weekend runner but they are too spendy (YMMV) for a weekend toy.

Bantam Jeep Festival in Butler, PA this weekend... Over 2000 Jeeps expected.. always a good time...

Mud pits, obstacle courses, varying degree difficulty trail rides, parade, and show area.. Lotsa fun...

I think you'd be hard pressed to find a minivan that can follow an Unlimited down a trail. And let's face facts, the vast majority of ALL Wranglers are mall cruisers.

oh man that Pa festival looks awesome!!! If we weren't heading to NC this weekend I'd be there. We have a jeep week here in OC in August but the off roading isn't really going to be anything to get excited about. The thrill of beach driving wears out pretty quick.

Oh **** already spending....

Scored a set of very clean used dana's with 3.73 (adequate for me I think) for $200. Front AND rear. Gotta love that kinda pricing!

Placing order for a rain cover for summer months in case we get caught out.

Doing various ball joints/bushings over the summer as well in an attempt to tighten things up a bit.

Need some sort of handles for my 5'0" wife to get in easier.

Now where is that quadratec catalog???

Woohoo!

I've done my share of big Jeep events over the years (Moab EJS, NM Chile Challange, Rubicon trail in CA, etc) and I won't do them anymore. Trail backups get frustrating. It's like being on a nice, twisty mountain road in the 911 stuck behind a motorhome with no way to pass!

5-10 appropriately prepared Jeeps with good peeps on a good trail is all I care to do these days. I guess the big events are worth experiencing once or twice, but they do get old real quick.
