'88, non turbo, with spoiler and sport roof*. First car I took a loan out on. I was about 19 at the time. Best driving car I ever had (with the roof in place) until I bought that 928.

*This is key to being 6'5", and getting laid in a MkIII Supra

When I had my 87 @ 140....the top was off :)

Goodyear Gatorbacks I think they were called....yep! But they didn't last long...and weren't cheap either....1200/set....but awesome.

Magazine Skidpan and braking tests are a valid comparison ,rather than a reflection of tyre choice, if all the cars are fitted with the manufacturer supplied tyres.

In response the original question asked 3.5 years ago I’d say original Supras are just now coming into their own. There was a lower mile TT bid up to 58K that seller backed out of on BAT last August when he thought the reserve was unfair. Typical dingus move befitting some of the owners of these cars. Popped up on evilbay a month later with 65K BIN. He had the nerve to use the BAT auction as an indicator of value.
