Prayers and thoughts to Mossguy.......

I always think of Jimmy Valvano at times like this. Hard to watch without getting tears. Its well worth ten minutes in your life or anyone's for that matter.

Thinking of you and your sage and humorous advice over the years. What a great and humble man.

A true gentleman whose posts I always look forward to reading for their candor, sage advice, wit and wisdom. Like everyone else here, I am saddened by this news but his attitude and philosophy about his current situation does nothing but bring a slight smile to my face. What a strong man. How blessed is his family to have had him in their lives. Take care Mossguy.

Wasn't that a lot more than 5 1/2 years ago?

Well, +1 to all the above; and Mossyguy, even if you're NOT reading this, best wishes to you and your family.

And so it goes, from an email sent by Son of Mossguy yesterday:

He passed this morning, on Patriot's Day, at 0105, after two days of unconsciousness. As per his wishes, his charity of choice is to Mount Rainier National Park. We will spread his ashes there next summer.

And now for something completely different indeed.

Gents and Ladies, join me in raising a glass tonight to the good Doctor: Godspeed to a Fine Man, well met. No tears, little sorrow, for a life well led deserves a wink and a smile.
