I got mine yesterday - yes, USPS delivered it on a Sunday.

The gold makes it look cheep and cheesy. I had a little bit of difficulty getting the small USB connector plugged in, but other than that it seems OK. I think I would have been annoyed to have paid $50+ for this gizmo, since i got my nice solar-powered charger for $60.

Yeah the gold is very 80's.

Used mine this morning.

Charged my 5 from 30% to 95% in around an hour.

I may just use it exclusively to see how many charges I can get out of it

Got mine yesterday. The fit of the charging cord isn't great but for $10 I'm sure not complaining.

The OP device was the steal of a deal. Sorry I missed it.

Anyhow, for minimalistic back country and tour cycling without any means of wall warts, this small GB / Bushnell brand solar wrap has its merit. Purchased from a large dept. store retailer, was $35 on clearance plus $10 rebate.

So far its been reliable, but is only a transfer charger, not an emergency aux power device. Although it will run a small MP3 player, but not a smart phone direct (charge only). Slow process. During the day, it solar charges and then during the evening power is transferred to the phone.

Mine arrived this morning and it appears to be a silver/pewter color.

On my 3rd charge.

Looks like it should be good for 5-6 full charges of the phone.

That'll work for me.

The color thing is making me nuts.

Under certain light it looks silver / pewter then other times it looks gold.

Odd

The results are in:
.
7:04 41%
8:31 100%
.
That looks like 1 hr. and 27 mins.

Not sure what the beef is on the color.
Mine's a nice creamy beige on one side and satin gold on the other.
I quite like it.
But then, I was raised in the upper Midwest farming country.
And it seems to work so far...all I ask.
