Broken leg? He doesn't give a ****, the other driver started the assault then fled the scene, and he's going to finish it! I hope for the best, but like the fact that the jerk got what he had coming.

fastfredracing 12-15-2014 03:00 AM

Ouch, hope you have a fast recovery .

flatbutt 12-15-2014 05:56 AM

Not cool. sending god Ju-Ju from here. As much as I detest road bikers I never want to hear this happening.

David 12-15-2014 06:43 AM

Sorry to hear about this and I'm really surprised he got so pissed at the guy, it sounds so unlike our Joe Bob ;)

Get well soon!!!

patz 12-15-2014 06:48 AM

What was thought to be a fracture at the top of the femur ended up as a dislocation of the hip. Reduction and a scope cleaned up the bits and pieces. Should be walking soon. Hopefully won't have to have a Todd replacement.

He's as pissy as usual and constantly pressing the morphine plunger. They are kicking him out soon.

Rick V 12-15-2014 06:53 AM

He broke his hip and he has the nerve to call me old

agreed. I hope there is some hell to pay for leaving the scene. good luck to your friend and hope for a safe and speedy recovery.

Hugh R 12-15-2014 07:26 AM

Wow, that sucks. I won't ride a bicycle on the streets in SoCal for that very reason. I've been put in the ICU twice in my life from bike accidents.

Brillo 12-15-2014 07:37 AM

Speedy recovery Mr. Z!

Vipergrün 12-15-2014 07:52 AM

onlycafe 12-15-2014 09:17 AM

heal well jb. hope you're up and around soon.

oldE 12-15-2014 09:26 AM

Jeez,

A guy goes away for a couple days and look what happens!

Joe Bob, Hope the darned hip heals fast.
There must have been one heck of a Holy Fuchs! What just happened?

Let me see if I got this straight: JB got hit from behind, the driver fled the scene, was brought back and then "someone might have taken a swing at him"?

Take care.
Les

creaturecat 12-15-2014 09:40 AM

Take care J B
Positive thoughts sent your way.

sammyg2 12-15-2014 09:54 AM

He's fallen and can't get up...

We need to set up a paypal account and get him a life alert and a hover-round. Maybe even a clapper!

That should get him back on his feet.

creaturecat 12-15-2014 09:55 AM

Maybe some brass knuckles ........

rwest 12-15-2014 10:05 AM

Hit and run is becoming so common, I'm glad the idiot came to his senses and returned. I think the clock should start as soon as the accident happens and the longer it takes you to come forward, the longer your sentence will be and even longer if you have to be caught.

Heal quick Joe Bob!

porsche4life 12-15-2014 10:05 AM

Get well soon JB! You and I may have our differences, but I hate to see a brother in pain!

gwmac 12-15-2014 10:08 AM

Joeaksa 12-15-2014 11:42 AM

Sorry but we all know Mike will heal... what about the BIKE????? :)

Any updates? Is he out yet?

Sent a text to his cell and no reply so the drugs must be working. Good to hear its not a broken bone...

DByers 12-15-2014 11:44 AM
