Heal up fast JB.
With the speed differentials I've seen on some sections of PCH you are lucky to only have a dislocated hip. Real lucky. |
Happy to hear your relatively ok. Get well sooner than later and I hope this all works out for you.
|
All the best J.B.!
And great shot if it's true - good on ya! Happy to toss a few bucks your way for legal defense fund if needed. MFer deserved it if he tried to run. Coward. |

Best to have no more comments. Attorneys are now involved.

Mike, when you're ready to bike again, lemme know, will be glad to send some parts or an old frame your way.

Not in Cali.
|
Nah. You ever try to steer a Ural?
Hey Joe, Ot, but do you have any insight into the Mass. Gulfstream failure to rotate incident? Can't imagine it was the control lock, but what else? |
Mike, I hope you are feeling better soon. Sorry to her about your accident.
|
Get well Joe Bob.

That one was worked out a while ago. The crew got distracted on the taxi-out and while they did move the "control lock" from engaged to free, they forgot to do an actual control system check before takeoff. The control lock lever was moved (which allowed the throttles to move past the 8% power stop) but one pin of the several that lock the controls did not move (believe the cable or lever sheared) and the elevator was locked in the neutral position. Had they done the actual control system check they could have seen on the EICAS that the surfaces did not move and would have returned to the ramp to get it fixed. They did not and unfortunately did not abort the flight in time to stop the take off roll. The CEO sitting in the back who passed in the accident was a very good friend of my boss. Sad to see... "The driver of the car may now have a broken jaw."
Most likely the guy tripped over the wreckage of Joe Bob's bike, heck, he might have wound up with a broken arm, or worse. Speedy recovery, Joe Bob. |
Ouch,,,
Hope you have a speed-o recovery..I mean speedy, last thing we want to see is MikeZ in a speed-O ! |
Get well soon, joe bob! That totally sucks!
|
Holy crap, what a pile of ****. Hope you heal quickly, Mike.
I actually think I'd rather have the femur broke over the jaw (which he COULD'VE sustained on his steering wheel when he SMASHED into Mike) - Advantage JB |
Get well soon
Mike, sorry to hear about your latest adventure didn't go the way you wanted, get well.

Talked to JB on the phone tonight.....Asked how he was doing? His first comment was that he was not riding his nice bike.........Sounds good and sez HI.......
|
Chatted with him this week as well. Dislocation is still a m-f'er. I hope the other guy gets what's coming.
|
Bo Jackson's career was ended due to a dislocation of his hip.
Let's hope they've checked out JB to make sure there aren't any associated problems like that. |
Been there. The femur is no joke. Speedy recovery.
|
Somehow he's going to blame a lawyer(s).
