superbowl!

the national anthem was awesome!

snbush67 02-01-2015 03:28 PM

Jurassic World looks like it is going to be exciting. Crap my TV just went out, never mind it was the Chevy Colorado commercial, crap that was scary.

snbush67 02-01-2015 03:29 PM

Lynch is allready digging the skittles.

snbush67 02-01-2015 03:30 PM

Wait did they check the air pressure yet? I must have missed that in the pre game show.

nynor 02-01-2015 03:42 PM

watching it online. the video cutting out for commercials is jarring. i don't get why they don't want me, and everyone else that is streaming the game, to miss the commercials....

I didn't know he had some kind of endorsement deal...I like how NBC obviously is in in it so they could show him eating it.

nynor 02-01-2015 03:53 PM

the game is already more interesting, in the first quarter, than the entire game combined last year. :)

biosurfer1 02-01-2015 04:00 PM

apparently a bunch of sportsbooks stopped taking bets on how long the national anthem would be when a bunch of max bets came in for the over (122.5seconds) and they suspected insider info.

Didnt have a stop watch but seemed like she cruised past 122 seconds.

It had to be timed with the blue angel fly over, she did a great job, classy.

Commercials blow!
2 exceptions are Budweiser with the Labradork and Nissan with the Chapin song.

snbush67 02-01-2015 04:53 PM

I thought the turbotax commercial was funny, it was based upon the revolution, Boston tea party, crossing the Delaware, battle of New York.

kach22i 02-01-2015 04:54 PM

Antenna TV, better sound and picture than anything else - add in surround sound system and it makes any game worth watching.

Did you see the players introduce themselves and say where they went to school? I played the punter for Hawks back 6 times and it still sounded like he said he went to the "University of Vagina". My wife thought he said it too. I looked it up and it is U of Regina in Canada.

Rapewta 02-01-2015 05:32 PM

The Super Bowl has "Jumped the Shark."

I can't come up with any comment for the Half Time Show.

I am a cynic I guess. The commercials are without comment.

At least Bruno Mars made us feel entertained until the RHCP tweaked out.

Too much of nothing.

Good Football Game so far. (half time)

Got to get back to the last SB game we will probably see.

Enjoy.

snbush67 02-01-2015 05:34 PM

Jon Ryan went to the University of Regina, not "University of Vagina," guys - SBNation.com

Liam Neeson commercial was good, Clash of Clans!

Porsche-O-Phile 02-01-2015 05:51 PM

Patriots are starting to beat themselves now. That stupid penalty right before the half turned a field goal into a TD that tied the game. Now it looks like all Seahawks... But we'll see.

chapo 02-01-2015 05:54 PM

Liam ad-funny
Bud- more of the same, hard to go wrong with tear jerker puppies
The rest suck
The Nissan ad was horrible, is that a real driver? I can't tell from commercial. Does he always abandon his family to go racing? is he supposed to be Dempsey only in a Nissan?

nynor 02-01-2015 06:11 PM

i'd love to be inside the mind of one of these quarterbacks. you make a decision and launch the football in less than 4 seconds. how in the world do they do that?

cabmandone 02-01-2015 06:14 PM

Nice family friendly halftime show for a change.

On the game, they unleashed Lynch in the 2nd quarter. IDK why they weren't trying to run more in the first quarter. The Pats have a tough time with big backs.

snbush67 02-01-2015 06:14 PM

Patriots are going to have to abandon the short game soon, things could change.

And toss the ball where the receiver is going to be, not where he is when you toss it.

Don't follow pro-ball but since I grew up in Boston, the Patriots are OK with me to win.

Porsche-O-Phile 02-01-2015 06:45 PM

Well, well, well...

Brady is starting to look like Brady finally. Not good if you're Seattle. :)

porsche4life 02-01-2015 06:57 PM

What the hell was that! Go Hawks!!!

cabmandone 02-01-2015 07:01 PM

What the hell was Pete thinking? You run Lynch all day everyday at that point.

Porsche-O-Phile 02-01-2015 07:03 PM

Seattle swinging at the Patriots after getting fairly beaten - what a classless bunch of pricks.

VaSteve 02-01-2015 07:04 PM

Hey, it's a classy sport! Just like NASCAR!

red-beard 02-01-2015 07:05 PM

A fight in the last play?

cabmandone 02-01-2015 07:05 PM

That has to be the ABSOLUTE worst call I've ever seen. You give the ball to Lynch and you go home a SB champion. Terrible, terrible call.

Baz 02-01-2015 07:08 PM

Seahawks - the most penalized team in the NFL.

Surprising...

Agreed!

mattdavis11 02-01-2015 07:14 PM

The monkey is finally off Brady's back. Congrats to the Pats!

Wow, that was a crazy finish!

I give it two thumbs up!

flskala 02-01-2015 07:22 PM

Seattle borrowed the 49'ers red zone play caller for this game. Nice job giving away the SB!

yep...it was such a stupid call it's baffling how anyone makes that call. Especially on 2nd down. I can see if Lynch doesn't get a yard in two plays maybe try something different on 4th but to throw into the middle on 2nd and 1, fng baffling.
