You gotta feel bad for the guy but this might be as close as he gets to the cup.

Couldn't be bothered to show up for the gold medal game at the world championships either. Or the playing of the national anthem....

Wow. 8 years, 50 million dollars. FOR A COACH.

It buys time for a faltering franchise. And $6.25 is nothing to MLSE. Fans are not watching, TV revenue is not increasing, time is running out.

The Raptors could supplant the Leafs as the number one team in the city if the Leafs can't improve.

Tonight should be interesting in Tampa. The Rangers will be motivated to make up for the embarrassment they called hockey in game 2.

The Rangers are in trouble. 12 goals in 2 games? Lundy needs some help. The turnovers and excessive cycling are hurting them IMO.

Same as last year, nothing from Rick Nash...but this year lots of other players are not scoring.

Lundqvist did not play well last night.

The Lightning are younger, faster, and better so far. They can answer back when the Rangers score.

Yup serious trouble. Only won 5-1 tonight. Scored 10 goals in two games. The 6-5 loss in game three was a heartbreaker but they scored enough times to hold their heads up.
King Henry made adjustments and came farther out of the goal. Awesome comeback for him but he still needs more support from defense though.

I was a little disappointed there there wasn't a bench clearing brawl at the end.

Great adjustments by the Rangers and Tampa played a very sloppy/lazy game. We'll see how game 5 goes. I wondered how the Ducks would respond to their triple OT loss and they did what they needed. Tampa Bay needs to shake it off and go take one in NY.

I don't know what happened with the Rangers tonight. It's like they were sleepwalking through the first half of the game. Then all of a sudden they could pass and skate again. And it looks like it might be getting chippy.

Yes a good game for NY. They played better than TB did. But it was a very off night for TB. I do see your point though. Game 3 was another one goal game while last night was not close at all.

The last time the Flyers went off the board and plucked a coach out of obscurity his name was Mike Keenan. Lets hope they get as lucky this time.

In the mean time I need the Ducks and Rangers to meet in the finals.

Agreed that two things happened at the same time. The Bolts went flat and the Rangers stepped up their game. Which came first I cannot say. I know that if an average team plays a really bad team they suddenly look spectacular since there is less opposition to throw them off. My slap shots looked pretty good until an excellent goalie got in the net and suddenly I looked very average. One thing to note about last night's blowout is it seemed to me that Bishop wasn't at his very best last night. He played well but not supernatural as he has in previous games. It could have been an off night or, he may be running out of mental focus/adrenaline.

Also, since there was another lopsided game in the Bolts favor, IMO this series will come down to a bunch of hard fought one goal games and the loser is the one who stumbles first.
