I bought one new in 1999. Waiting list. POS. my last Mercedes, after 3 good experiences. Hated that car.
Had a CEL when I traded it for a Land Cruiser ( used) never looked back.
Have a 3 rd gen 4Runner now, what the ML should have been-what I should have bought new.

I've looked at these several times and have a friend who is an independent Mercedes mechanic/shop owner. He strongly recommends avoiding these.
