Seems like only yesterday when Carson signed off touching off all the drama that lead to the Letterman show. Dang I feel old.

I usually get a chuckle from Letterman and Sandler. I their form of humor.
IMO Letterman has gotten better following the announcement of his retirement.
He seemed much more relaxed doing the show.

Letterman was funny when I was a teenager.
I grew out of it.
He didn't.

Sandler is funny but that song was trying too hard and not funny at all.

I never found him funny at all. His show was always like a cheap knock off with no budget compared to Leno. And don't get me started on Schaefer. Geez that guy is such a dork.

No choice here, I picked Carson every night he was on over Letterman, and then started watching Leno, but couldn't stay awake that late anymore.

That must have been a while ago? He weighs about twice that now. Good reminder why I don't have TV. I'd rather poke my eye out with a blunt stick than watch this crap. I made it about half way ... that's funny?

I do like some of the early Sandler movies, he is a funny looking dude and someone writes a good dumb script = good basic relaxing entertainment.
