I don't hate all C&W, but the old time C&W sucks (in my opinion). The Line dancing is not a new thing. Been happening around here for many long years. I still don't care for it, or Ball Room Dancing, or Ballet either!
And I own the Copper Head Road CD. I have been to C&W bars, and suffered through the music looking for "Mrs. Right Now", and I learned girls I meet in bars, always want to go back, and the ones from C&W bars like that music and want to listen to it all the time.  Toby Keith has some decent music. We ate at his giant bar and restaurant just last month. They were playing his music and the walls are covered with his memorabilia. And once again, I don't have anything against line dancing. Lots of folks love it, power to em! Just don't invite me please.

I've never been a fan of "country music" per se... rock & blues here. Our PBS channel has been airing Ken Burn's "Country" series this week....excellent imo.
It's all just music....take off the labels. Damn hippies .I bet there is a bunch of stuff in the Grateful Dead catalog (live shows) that even Tim would enjoy... Jerry does Johhny Cash too

I have been watching the Ken Burn's all week. Pretty good. I like and listen to most types of music... Country, classical, classic rock and 80's/90's pop..... Still don't think much of the hippies and queerdos however...

^^^ from what I've read, Burning Man would be a very hostile environment for covid19. But I respect their decision. Maybe next year it will be back closer to its roots culturally.
