It was a good and surprising Quali, a half second is a lot. Lotus did well. Lots of big names at the back.

That champs wall is a great corner. Great track. Should be good fun tomorrow.

I have to edit this in: Didn't really SEE that final Q3, as I decided during the last break I would rest my eyes (because of all the excitement in Q1 and Q2 ??)
for just a couple of seconds. When I regained consciousness...... My wife asks "How was quali??" " Good" (meekly) "You missed it didn't you?" "No, no" I said

Total snooze fest. Only driver who could have given Merc ANY run starts from the back. At this point I'm forced to conclude that Kimi is phoning it in. One of the most boring Grands Prix since I don't know when.

"Lift and coast please, lift and coast", sure doesn't make for great racing.

And McLaren? This may well go down as their worst year. "Box this lap so we can retire the car." Just about the second most common radio communication next to "lift and coast."

Well that was boring , first race I've watched in about 2 year as the technology is the most interesting part for me but it seems to me the more complicated the cars have evolved the less it adds to the racing.

Just watching the TT, now this is exciting racing , everyone of the riders must have the biggest balls of titanium to get around a lap there.

Indeed a very dull race, the highlight for me was the beaver. Hope she made it home okay. I think they've been trying to dam up the St. Lawrence river for quite some time now.

Contrarian view-- best race for 40 laps with tv footage on the mid-pack and especially Vettel charging. Missed last part of race--- we went and watched Cal Club at Buttonwillow. Any reruns like the old days on tv?

not on NBC but on cable/sat NBCSC they run reruns
