where to get heavy duty hardware for sliding garage door?

I know there are a bunch of very smart and resourceful folks here, so here it goes. I am looking for a very heavy duty track for a large sliding garage door. The doors will be in three sections. Upon opening, the two doors will slide in front of the other door allowing 2/3 of the garage for access. This is for a four car garage, the doors will be 3" thick White Oak and I think I am dumb enough to build it in my shop, because no one else I spoke to wants to do it. The owner and the designer hinted that he really wanted it done and was willing to pay for it. This second phase of the project was suppose to happen the end of next year. Plans are looking like the doors and the remodel to the garage is happening now. Thanks goodness the rest of the garage remodel is simple and can be done in one month. Please hit me with what you got, gents.

Jeff

McMaster won't let you down. It may be too "industrial", but they appear to have sliding door tracks and hardware up to 1500 lbs.

Send us some pictures of this project!

You may look at something like the metal/wood horse stall doors that slide, using a set of wheels at each end of the door to slide in an overhead track.

For a high end job I'd look at an opener like a Liftmaster MH.

I've goggle this to death last night after I got the good (maybe bad?) news near the end of the day after yapping with the owner.

My issue is the third track, the one that allows the two door to slide on top of each other. A pair is simple and almost off the shelf, but really like something that will roll on the bottom track for better tracking instead of just hanging on a overhead track. I know there are a few commercial, industrial builders or real jack of all trades that can point me toward the right direction. I don't want to put in something cheap in someone's home. That's not me. Looks like I need to start talking to my welder.

The third of even fourth door can be hinged. Or http://vzyalslidingdoor.blogspot.com/2014/05/folding-sliding-doors-upvc.html?m=1
