Family Values Activist Josh Duggar Had a Paid Ashley Madison Account

Prolly a PARF thread, but I'm not surprised about the "family values" crowd showing up in AM's database. They have repeatedly been exposed as hypocrites for a couple of decades.

Didn't someone in here claim they use Ashley Madison?

I wonder if someone setup an account for him. It would be a great way to get a "family values" person in trouble. Also, when would he have time for an affair?

If it really is him, you cannot be a stupider person than to use your real name!

i think i heard on the radio that the hackers wanted the site taken down because it was a scam. it was 99% paying men..the women didnt exist..

so..if your name gets leaked, it isnt that you cheated..it was that you paid up like an idiot to hopefully cheat.

If its true, is anybody dumb enough to be surprised? Some of the biggest POS people that I've ever known are self-righteous Christians that constantly feel compelled to tell others how to live their life. ummmm, no. it works for 'normal guys' but not for weirded out physcos..

I understood the hackers wanted the site/company out of business. One point of disagreement - the "delete" service that AM offered for $20 or so - did not fully REMOVE all traces of membership, which was assumed to be the case. The hackers showed that membership info was still retained within the system, even though customers had paid extra to be removed.

With the amount of information, can probably tell if an account is real or not - someone might use a fake name, but unlikely a fake credit card number, etc.

Seems like that's a bit of a honeypot in and of itself: collect the email addresses of potential cheaters who think they might have been exposed.

If the individual was stupid enough to use a known email address then they've used it elsewhere.

Start by googling it in whole or in part with and without their real name.

Also try any nicknames / usernames. People are creatures of habit and tend to reuse them, a lot.

Throw their town and state in the mix.
