Earlier this year we were in Ireland for my daughter's wedding. A couple of days after the wedding I got sick and ended up in emerge of a local hospital. Well treated, tests, xrays and after 6 hours I was done. Total including ambulance ride from the hotel was $140 euros or about $200.

Ambulance came to take me to hospital for some intensive care and stayed there a few days. No Bill! Now my daughter is 2 and goes to kindergarten. The worst? Any poorer Asian country like Malaysia, Thailand Or Cambodia. Interestingly Vietnam is better than you may think.
Pakistan or India? I'd choose India every time but even there it's nowhere near Western Standards except for the private clinics for their rich >>> They are truly luxurious and absolutely spotless. The best? Australia by far. Even better than Canada IMO. (I used to be an RN)
