This exchange took place yesterday after she defrosted the refrigerator downstairs in the basement. This type of exchange has taken place many times over the 37 years we have been married So this is the conversation that took place after the defrosting was complete, we dried everything with towels and I rolled the fridge back in place and plugged it in.

ME: Did you change the refrigerator setting ?
HER: No
ME: But the knob is set to zero
HER: No I did not adjust the knob
ME: Then how did the temp setting get to zero ?
HER: I don't know all I did was turn it off
ME: There was no reason to turn the knob it stopped working when we unplugged the fridge
HER: I didn't adjust the temp
ME: OK I'll take it from here dear......I set the knob to level 4 and grabbed a beer

There is no doubt that mens and womens brains work differently......always have always will. Somehow we have made it 37 years with many more in sight.

I agree with you. I will stick with the one I am married to but I think that women's brains are all wired by Lucas. Switching to another woman would just get another Lucas product.

Funny things wives say;

When I get home from work early. "Did you get fired today?"

Wife: "When you finish the clown car are you going to sell it?" (Referring to the 904 that she views as too small)

Me: "no way, I'm going to drive it."

Wife: "we have a three car garage and six cars, we shouldn't have more cars than garages."

Me: "great, I know you don't want to build another garage, so I'll buy three lifts!"

Wife: "fine, keep the clown car."

Women, can't live with them...

My wife bought a 1987 930 Turbo back in 1996 and of course we started driving it at autocross events and one thing led to another with larger intercooler, better exhaust, etc, etc. One Sunday morning in early 1997 she said "you need to quit messing with MY car....why don't you get your own race car"!

That's why we've been married for over 30 years.

I've determined that my wife can see the full spectrum of colours but is "shape blind"
Primer is her least favourite type of Porsche
