I lived in Seattle (UW) in 68 and the city went 91 days without rain. Homeowners complained there wasn't a garden hose for sale in a 50-mile radius. They'd all sold out, and many many lawns had died.

The Canadian side of the PNW is a paradise. Some days better than others ....... Canucks do not have the option of a warmer climate.

Bob, and I have been to his casa, uses more of the motorized coolness at his disposal than anyone I know.

And Monday is supposed to be another doozy. Well on our way to a record setting December.
Very good news is the snowpack on Mt. Hood is off to a very good start. Good for skiing and good for our summer water supply.
This is when I really appreciate my 75 foot commute to my shop in the back yard...

It's been a soaker here for sure this winter. Tons of rain in the westside lowlands, the mountains have been and continue to be pounded with snow. The ski resorts here are doing great. I'll bet Whistler is going to be great this winter too.

This is why all the rain does not bother me......

Where is that in PDX?

Old news, but the Tualatin River has flooded out here in Sherwood. The local junkyard has most of their cars 3/4 submerged...
