Power supply for a GPS
I am disappointed in my bike GPS.....I got lost in FL and JoeBobDickWad plus their inbred relatives shops along the way had no knowledge of the place I was trying to get back to, no computers.
I can't use my car unit. The Garmin GPS in my car has a horrible usage life, less than an hour. My rides are longer than 2-3 hours. Is there a 9v or other battery that has a quick and easy connect to a USB port to provide a longer? Sorry if I am not clear, I am coming down with something, hot and humid and A/C is doing a number on me. Please don't tell me to turn it off. That's not my question.

Joe Bob,
How about a "power bank" type device? http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_pg_2?rh=n%3A2335752011%2Ck%3Apower+bank&page=2&keywords=power+bank&ie=UTF8&qid=1451008653&spIA=B00UC8V2SO,B00U9YCID4,B00WHJZGWY I have one that I haven't used or will use. If you think it would work, PM me your address and I'll ship it to you. Rutager

You can get a hardware cord on Amazon for under $20. Mount with a Ram mount, connect to switched power (headlight) and never get lost again.

Not sure of that exact brand, but they do work. If you remember to charge 'em. |
