C'mon, get real.
Aint nobody gotz time for that!
It is time to open the eyes and see that the kids are totally overloaded with expecations and to-dos already, add the media and smartphones.
Those staged photos you see everywhere of kids sitting in modern, clean and well equiped classrooms, smiling and having fun-fun-fun is just making me wanna puke. Whats next? VR in the classroom? Yeah, sure!

Depending on how it is used in the classroom, I can go either way.

Teaching programming concepts? You betcha! Have something to hold interest and spark that 'what else can i do' as opposed to "Hello World" and outputting math and other boring stuff...

Ahaahha, I’m 27 years old and I play minecraft with my son and this is a pretty interesting game and it develops logic well, so you can worry. In addition, there are no bloody scenes and you can play it from the age of three. As for the servers, if you understand this, then you can easily create your own server and it will be completely free. If you have problems, you can easily buy a server for 50-60 dollars at https://ggservers.com. I did just that and did not regret it. So if you want to spend time with your son, then this is a great option!

(ignoring the spam bot above)

Minecraft looks much like a 4bit digital Legos environment...without the stepping hazards.
Basic fun.
People of all ages probably could use more of this 3-D spacial exercise.

If I could do it all over again, I would throw the system out. Some kids handle it better than others. Your the parent, do what ever you want.
