Maybe 'native North Americans' versus 'east Asians' in PC speak.

how'd that all work out for ya?? Monday night will be a channel flipping nightmare with the sharks playing for the cup, and the dubs squashing the thunder to advance in game 7.
![]() so, when I got home late last night I went out to find the foil removed and a note apologizing for having not discussed it prior to the install. the dish will be moved early next week to a more agreeable spot. another thing I failed to mention was that the installer had to do extensive trimming to the bushes to even clear a spot for it there. the bulk of the trimmings were left in my yard to collect. plus, im a directv guy....

Hi
|
I think what I would do is tap into the signal and let the neighbor pay for your TV signal.
It's a win-win. He gets to keep the dish on the fence and you get free TV !

Seriously ? You didn't even notice it until you went outside.
Leave it be, and in a week or two you will forget about it. |

another thing this has brought to my attention is that directv goes to great lengths to plain out their dish units in a very bland gray color with very low key logos placed. the dish unit looks like the side of a NASCAR sled. t

Or as Albert Ganz so eloquently put it: "No not a turban, You know, a squaw."

TV dishes of any kind are hideously ugly and should be out of view. Thank god they are not allowed on my building, it would look ghetto on a beautiful structure.

My neighbor brings me fresh figs and avocados from his greenhouse.
I helped him build the greenhouse. He gave me an old Ampeg cab.

There's no such thing as a "common fence," BTW.
You'll find out who actually owns the fence when it's time to repair the fence.

Should be a hell of a game! Either team would deserve to go. Westbrook is amazing, that's for sure. Never seen anybody that fast. And good. The winner will need to bring their A game for the pleasure of facing the Cavs...

What if the guy asked you prior to installation? Is it obtrusive or the fact that they didn't ask for permission or both?
Neighbors can jointly own the fence, normally split the cost when it requires repair or staining. I guess you could check your survey and see what side the fence is on. I'm not sure I know what I would do but I do know that what ever I decided to do I best get the approval of my wife first.

I built the fence to get my section done free a few years back. the other 60' of common fence belonging to the other two neighbors I made a killing on building. the common fence premise has made me a good portion of dough over the years. we get a couple bids, then I build it for that cost after having the neighbor buy half in. they pays half, I collect a couple bucks by sourcing the wood on the cheap from my suppliers and then I build my fence.
I always get the pretty side too that way. fence constructors humor.....
