What I like is being able to order a new pair from the comfort of my home by just a few clicks of the keyboard.

This company really has it's act together in how they sell eye wear.

I've also ordered from Glasses usa.com and have been satisfied.

Hey Baz...like your shades enough that I went onto the Zenni site to price them with my prescription. I have progressive bifocals..so I know they will be a little more. :)
I couldn't find them....Do you perchance have the model number and I'll use their search?
Thanks.

Geneman 03-04-2021 01:11 PM

You're welcome! I just ordered another pair....backup regular glasses.

All for under $18 delivered.

Will post pic when they arrive. ;)

When trying to order those (sunglass)frames with my Rx...it denied it because bi-focals require a larger area frame.
So...I called them and spoke to a real nice lady that guided me through the whole purchase. She talked me into single vision (which will fit) and polarized tint.
30 day return policy...can't go wrong. :)

Good to know. I've never had bi-focals. I just go with readers when I have my contacts in. Or remove my glasses.

I worked in the yard this morning wearing my glasses, but could have worn my new Rx sunglasses. Just didn't think of it, to be honest. But it was overcast anyway - and cool.

I'm trying to reduce how much I wear my contacts and using Zenni is helping...I just have to adapt.

They came today - that was ultra fast! Really comfy and will be great for backups. The clip-on sunglasses work great too. Will give them a try outside tomorrow...

My Zenni sunglasses came today. (No pic...same as post 61)
The stems had to be bent a tad to fit my ear..other than that, fit great.
Amazing to slip them on and everything as clear as my daily glasses.

I recently ordered glasses on line and it took 3 different shipments before I got a set sans breakage.

Just imagine the stress of drinking a nice dry GreenHook martini without the proper glassware.

^^^ Do you mind saying which eyeglass company?
This is my third pair of glasses from Zenni and they have all been shipped in the clam-shell hard cases. All arrived in new condition.

Just got my Zenni specs. $41.95 delivered. Bifocal, full stainless frames. Better than the ones I got last month from a local place. Tried 2 times but they could not get the reading part right. Next time I will go for a better pair from Zenni. Went cheap as a test run. The lenses are great. The frames are a bit tight. Will wear them to see if I get used to them.

Glad it worked out for you, Jack! SmileWavy

I was looking at another pair the other day and decided to hold off until I get my next SS payment. $18 is $18 after all! :p

Thanks Baz. Never would have done it if not for this thread. My insurance pays for one pair per year. I wonder uf they will cover an on line purchase next year ?? I really like my old frames, too bad I cant get good lenses for them.

Your insurance may be diff...but I have Priority Health as my add-on to medi-care.
I also pay for the enhanced dental and optical.

My last pair of Zenni's, I asked about the coverage for the glasses.
They said that they are not a participating optical business.

That's ok with me. I'll just get my script from a participator for no charge and then use it to purchase the glasses from Zenni.
