My last pair of Zenni's, I asked about the coverage for the glasses.
They said that they are not a participating optical business.

That's ok with me. I'll just get my script from a participator for no charge and then use it to purchase the glasses from Zenni.

I am ok with that also. My eyes have not changed since I got the first pair of specs 6 years ago. I will likely just get an exam next year and let the insurance pay for that, then order the glasses from Zenni.

After your responses to Zenni glasses, I ordered a pair. I think it was 12 days since I ordered it, and it arrived today. Cheap plastic frames with progressive lenses and shipping was $61. It fit great! Way better than my Tom Fords from Costco that cost almost $400. I am sold on Zenni.

I ordered another pair since the one's I bought above.

Just a basic pair for around the house. $20.90 including shipping. They fit great!

Bump - in case anyone wants info on ordering glasses online.....

FWIW....I just re-ordered another pair like the one above (post#84).

Because of their website's ability to retain all my info, the entire process took less than 2 minutes.

Hard to beat that.

My original ones are still doing great but I got to thinking it wouldn't hurt to get another backup - especially at this price ($24.85 shipped to my mailbox!).

The Zennis are great. I do not wear them often because my insurance pays for prescription specs yearly now. I do wear the Zennis when I am painting because they have glass lenses that I can clean with acetone and that would ruin the acrylic lenses in my other specs.

Tob - you should definitely look into trying Zenni.

I mostly wear contacts during the day and glasses at night but have also worn my glasses plenty of times during the day while working on stuff and the frame style I bought as noted above has stood the test of time (3 years so far).
