Those are the bats I've been used to this season!!! That takes some pressure off for sure. Surprising amount of Cubs fans at LA and I'm surprised by how many Dodger fans left early. Two on the road would be sweet when heading back home.

The Jays notso great showing at the plate over this series reminded me of a ball coach (I was then in my mid-teens) whose favourite expression when critiquing the opposition's perceived lack of offense: "They ain't got no sticks". Hell-o Trawna.
The Cubs/Dodgers series seems to be a 'pickem' at this point - kinda leaning towards Bill Murray's Boys. Cheers JB

My wife asked if TV ratings would suffer if it ends up Cubs-Indians.
I'm betting there are enough Cubs fans around the country that it wouldn't. What do you guys think?

I could easily see the highest ratings ever for the Series if the Cubs win the Pennant.

Imagine paying a guy 30trilliondollhairs,only to discover he is some sort of showpony that can't/wont perform a simple basic task.
Left handers are supposed to be able to pick people off,it is easy. Good, effective pitching beats good hitting.
