Car over the bluff - identify

What is this, Fairlane coupe? On a mountain bike ride yesterday on some trails below a road called High Drive. There are a few cars down here.

Definitely not a mustang or a cougar. I've owned a few mustangs of that era. The nose is longer, the whole car is bigger.

Head scratcher.
83 thunderbirds had the low belt line but we should be able to see the right front wheel well from what is shown if so.

It is tough:

-hard to gauge the size of the car from the photo
-it appears to be a post coupe (looks like it has a fairly substantial B-pillar and a very small rear quarter window) but it is hard to tell whether that is sheetmetal or, say, a tree.
-looks intermediate-to-large, American, late 60s to maybe late 70s.
C-pillar area vaguely resembles aero 'Birds but nothing else does - windshield header and lower body surfacing all indicate much older.
-The whole greenhouse is the confounding bit as seen in the picture.
-I think the crowned line on the front fender and door is the most distinctive identifying element, but it's hard to pin that down.

No idea about the car but I have some ideas about the tires.

Good tires, but certainly not great tires

What, you couldn't get off your bike and walk over a bit closer?
