Worst cars, as applied to the writer's obvious agenda. Seems he has a lot more relevant opinions about the state of the world than cars.

I would nominate damn near everything made in Detroit from 1974 to 1990, where basically every single car was mediocre at best. A friend had a 1980-ish Cavalier that was really a rolling testament to indifference. Another friend had a Z/28 Camaro with a 160-ish HP 305 V8 and interior pieces that would literally fall into your lap.

I had several Pintos and loved them, with the 2.3 L engine, they were pretty quick, and could power brake on hot roads for long distances
I had an '81 citation (nearly 10 years old when I got it) with the 2.5L 4, and then later I had a Citation X-11 with the 2.8L 6. Both are GM "X-body" cars. The Omega was slow and boring. The only problem that I had in it was when the front trans seal blew, probably because I was manually shifting it. The X-11 was much more fun to drive, and not really that bad in the grand scheme of things. I had a '91 Mercury Topaz that was worse than both of the X-body cars.

Right now I'm driving a Jeep Patriot. It's a fwd economy car clothed as an SUV. It's not horrible, but it's certainly not good either. It needs more power, but then the torque steer would be much worse. I'd never buy one, that's for sure.

That list tells you why Time's circulation is in the tank and no one trusts the media.

I SERIOUSLY love lots of cars on that list.

And one for grins is the Ford T. Primitive, yes. So simplistic and robust. Amazing the terrain they traveled.

Some very good cars on that list. Time magazine, no wonder they are going out of business

Meh, everytime anyone comes up with a "best cars" or "worst cars" list, there is an uproar. Frankly, that means the folks that made the list did a great job since uproars cause publicity and folks talk about the lists and get passionate and that drives people to view the list.

A great list that everyone read and agreed with wouldn't get near the views and publicity of one with a few or several outrageous entries.
