Saw the new Star Wars....wow
After being totally underwhelmed by the last installment (cast, story line, all of it) I was in no hurry to see Rogue 1. Saw it the other night.
Wow. Well done. The last scenes were worthy of the first movie and then some. Possibly the second best film of the entire franchise. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I also liked the last scenes...the only part of the movie worth watching. I heard "may the force be with you" much too often...

They could have skipped Leia's last line.

Sitting near us some younger girls were crying over the last scenes. Very good film.

I liked it... more Star Trek like than Star Wars like which IMO is good. Not the typical drama/coming of age story that most Star Wars movies are centered on. A lot more action than the typical Star Wars plot. Hope they continue in this vein with the other offshoot movies.

Spoiler ************************* Alert
It was excellent, I'm seeing it again with other friends. They should have spliced in the Leia-R2 scene from the first movie. The CGI Tarken and Leia were nice attempts but the technology is just slightly not there. But again, excellent movie. Seeing Passengers tonight.

Not as enthusiastic as the rest of you. Good. Not as good as the last for me. Nice characters though. I am very pleased with the kick ass female characters. Makes me want to bring my daughters repeatedly.

I thought it was much better than films 1, 2, and 3 (which sorta turned me off of Star Wars for a while). In fact, right after the last scene I said "wow" out loud. Great production design.

I enjoyed it quite a bit, a lot more than I expected to.
I would rank it 2nd or 3rd, leaning toward 3rd, in the series. The last ten minutes or so made up for a lot of shortcomings of the movie (and there were some major ones). Rogue One was way better than The Force Awakens for me.

100 times better than the last film. On the last film, I couldn't tell if I was watching star wars or Harry Potter.
But this film was the bomb. Worthy of A New Hope prequel. My friend I saw it with said, "it's about time they made a positive male role for an Asian in Star Wars."

I prefer Star Trek, but this episode was good. Way, way better than the last one.

I enjoyed it as well!! Seemed a little long, but I had to pee most of the movie haha showed up 40 mins prior to the movie starting which probably had me wanting it to end sooner rather than later!

I thought it sucked.
It could easily have been 1/4 the length and called "everyone dies". The sarcastic robot was the high point, which says it all.. |

I saw it with my eight year old and his buddy.
We had fun and I enjoyed the story even though it was a bit long. |

I watched it with my 7 year old son, and we both loved it. We have been watching the last 7 episodes over the past month or so and went to see this one after we were done. The action in the last 45 min or so was very well done.
