It depends on how poisonous and iguana is, and if the snake bit into a poisonous part of the iguana. I didn't know the iguana was poisonous, if it was, why would the snakes try to bite it?

Here's "Snake Island" off the coast of Brazil. Full of venomous snakes--approx. 3 per sq. meter. Anyone who lived there, mainly the light house keeper and family, were killed by the snakes. It is officially "off limits" to humans.

Watched this at 2am when I couldn't go back to sleep...finally fell back asleep and had a nightmare of a snake trying to bite me!!
