May have to watch it, tonight:)

I enjoyed it a lot more than the latest Borne movie. Hot chicks, a 911, & Berlin.
|
Couple of picky points:
1. The Berlin activity was set in 1989. The 911 looks to be a newer 965 variant. Was that trim and wheel available on the earliest 964’s? 2. Check out the first scene in London where Lorraine is walking to the building. The same group of cars appears 2-3 times, despite the fact that she had been walking over a couple of city blocks. There was a light blue MGB GT, A mid range BMW and a Jag - I think XJ-S. All shown from a couple different angles, but definitely appear to have been recycled throughout the scene. Didn’t really notice anything else noteworthy in this movie. I do like bathtubs full of ice cubes for some reason... |

Okay, stayed awake this time. Liked it. Liked the fight bits because nobody had a glass jaw or was a one hit wonder. Nice twisty bits for a spy movie. Specially the very end.

Watched this movie a couple weeks ago, enjoyed it. Very Jason Borne-ish especially the ending. Good stuff.

Wrong wheels and wing on what would have been a 964 C4 , hot chick on chick action and good music.
|
Caught it on a flight - the guy next to me woke up when they ladies were enjoying each other. In one instance when the guy took a key to the face and there was no blood...agh, ya. No. Otherwise the blood vs. contact worked but the ability to recover from some hits was beyond fantastic. It didn't need all of the violence. Sometimes less is more.

I typically like this type of flick so I had somewhat high expectations going in, particularly given many of the opinions here.
Gave up and turned it off about 40 minutes in. _ |
^^^ it was the wrong wheels and the wing on the car, wasn't it.

That was a good movie with nice Porsche contents and eye candy.
Also a very feminist movie, depicting a woman who kicks men’s ass and sleeps with girls. At first I was going to blame it on Hollywood brainwashing propaganda, and that may be the case. But also, reading her personal story, it makes sense that she was a perfect fit for the role. Great actress for sure. |
I just saw this movie a few days ago, two thumbs up.
If you're an '80s car fan, this is two hours of amazing from 190E Benzes to 126 Chassis S-Class, E34 Touring, first gen Passat police cars, Lada Nivas, Trabants to the great 964. Lots of subtle but yet "close enough" details and a great movie set to make you believe it was 1989, not just the cars but the tech like the Sony Walkman, telephones, clothing, the music score...excellent stuff Charlize is fantastic too. |
I liked her in Prometheus.
