After being featured on the new Wheeler Dealers season I wonder how prices have jumped? Or at least interest/ease of selling. Frankly never knew this model was sold in the USA until seeing that episode.

The freshly-power-washed underside demonstrates to the buyer that nothing has dripped since yesterday.
(YMMV.)

The purple wave wash cammo seats will hide all skid-marks and puke-stains.
(Purple=Pimp.)
(Remember.)

The huge unique wing will provide every cctv cop camera shop a direct line to auto-bill your credit card.
(Ok Big Playa. Might as well stand up and whip it out in a busy restaurant yelling 'go ahead and try to get me copper'. The result is the same.)

Holy smokes - 55k!?

When I was a teen the Sierra RS was hot in Europe. Totally embarrassing looking. And it wasn't that fast, at least not on the Autobahn, compared to other hot cars. I would buy that as a curio object, but certainly not for tens of thousands ...

(FWIW)

About a decade or two ago:
There was a short lived underground video series "Getaway In Stockholm" with a Cosworth-powered-something that created serious 'street racing cred' results.
I was somewhat impressed at least.

What is the price of the the average 3500 pickup these days?
$36k in a down market?
Don't let the small Detroit FordGT name get in the way of valuation and fool you.

No , the fact that cars of this era are now 25 years old means they can come in with no problems .
THAT , is why you’ll start seeing them coming out from the woodwork ..

Allthough the Ford rs market has been booming for quite a few years in Europe , so you’re gonna have to pay if you want one .

Likewise the 964 rs market has risen considerably , before the Usa market opened up for all .

I realize this is a predominantly porsche and bmw forum , and mainly populated my over-opinionated people who never did any research whilst forming their opinions , but just look at the euro cars that have now hit 25 and are starting to be seen over here ...

E30 m3-evo , merc 180-cosworth , porsche 964 rs , Ford-cosworth , etc etc

Forget about the group-b rally cars , they’re already WAY beyond what a new ford pick-up costs ...

The fact the prices have also risen in Europe as part of the “bedroom wall poster / kids now grown so I have money to buy the car I dreamed about as a kid” is all part of it , as are the fact the cars now available changed Motorsport and then trickled down to cars available to buy “cheap” from the showrooms ..

You could see it was coming , and you can easily see what’s coming in the future ...

Porsche 930 poster anybody ????

$55k is serious coin for a toy, even though that's a pretty cool toy. I'm not being a Porsche snob, that's getting into some pretty lofty territory where you have some serious stuff to choose from. Including, if you have a fetish for rally hatchbacks, the Lancia Delta Integrale.

My neighbor in the late 70's had one of these. It seemed fast back then, but I'm sure that now it would be different.

I was trying to remember where I had seen this before, is that the show where they interview the UK family that has been racing and building these cars for decades?
