Higgins is gone.....RIP.....

John Hillerman, Emmy-Winning ‘Magnum, P.I.’ Actor, Dies at 84

Magnum PI was one of my favourite shows on TV, and Higgins was instrumental in it's success. You will be missed Jomathan!

Damn, I thought the same thing! And I never cared too much for the Magnum shows. I watched it here and there but just way to cheesy. Thats on the cusp of one generation before me...

Loved that show, the first few seasons anyway. Hillerman was actually from Texas but did the English accent fairly well.

I thought the same thing until I hovered over the thread.

We (family) used to watch Magnum pretty religiously. Loved it. Higgins was awesome.

RIP

I'm sorry but your brain must be stuck in granny gear to title a thread like that when we have a frequent poster named Higgins.

Who gives a schit what geriatric celebrity died today? Sometimes this board is just like USA Today, a recap of trivial news for people who read w their lips moving.

Hillerman was a great character actor, and his body of work is pretty darn impressive. He was in at least a couple of of my favorite movies, "Chinatown" and "The Last Picture Show". Probably lots more. A real good talent.
