WD15, The 3 large knobs to operate climate control are present on the Smart ForFour car from 2004 onward so maybe Toyota copied that idea.

It's funny, now that I own a truck I seem to notice trucks a whole lot more.

Actually, remote start, heated seats and mirrors, tow package with trailer brake controller, trailer assist (you place "Q code" stickers on your trailer and it backs it up for you, a feature I won't use), 18" wheels and a few other gadgets. Yes I kept the 4 Runner, the dog won't let me get rid of it, he seems to prefer the ride. I've been driving it for a few days and I really like it, very different than the 4Runner, almost like cruising in a Cadillac.

Just to clarify, I have the supercab with the 6.5' bed. That is considered the standard bed length. Anything shorter didn't make sense for my use. I'm still getting use to the overall length and size.

I agree with you about the ride. It's much smoother than the Acura MDX (of course I'm remembering the 15 year MDX and not a new one). My wife commented the other day that it rides like a car. I have to admit that my recollection of how a pickup truck rides was based on my summer job with the parks department 30 years ago. Needless to say I'm happy with the ride.
