I've seen this problem in other cooks. It comes from vigorously polishing carrots. Try to buy pre-polished carrots until you are back to normal or use the other hand to polish your own.

Did some googling, that's exactly what it is, thank you! Plenty to read about helping it heal. Wish I hadn't stopped doing hammer curls (all lifting really) over a year ago, don't think it would have gotten so aggravated.

Interesting.

I found this.

Elbow Rehab for a Brachioradialis Strain
https://www.livestrong.com/article/486304-elbow-rehab-for-a-brachioradialis-strain/

When I hurt my arm a couple of years ago, I rested it for a few weeks and went swimming nearly every day for about eight months. Swimming was the only thing I really felt safe doing for about a year.

No hint of problems now, not even tenderness after a healthy workout.

I over extended my arm while doing curls, not the same injury as this but similar in some ways I assume.

*See* a pro. Not even a pro can diagnose it correctly on the net.
Difference between a well conducted treatment with complete recovery, and litterally partial impotence for life.

Hopefully you will get the treatment before it turns into any form of impotence.

Being Saturday, you won't see anybody for a few days. Ice, compression and get an electric sander you cheap bastage.

I predict that Shaun doesn't like paying doctors any more than paying electricians.
I hope all goes well for you.

I've got a bio/biochem degree and am pretty good at fixing myself. And I am more durable than most. Did some stretching today and that has helped a lot. Just knowing what it is has helped. It's easier to control, to not use those muscles. But definitely more involved than fixing a broken, bent toe. The first aid section at Home Depot is pretty well stocked. Will call my Dr. next week, have never met him, my old one retired. He was a real doctor.

That would be upsetting to my mom, but pleasing for Norm (he will get more of her, in that case)!

I know Norm is a Marine but God help him if I'm down and out. Maybe the Energizer Bunny is free?
