Hey Paul, looks like 1984 or 1985. How many miles and what kind of work needs to be done?

Nice! Here's a link you might find useful for searching (I've used it a lot for rebuilding my silver Targa...):

1982 SC. 168k. Engine redone about 10k ago.
It has been sitting for almost two years so all fluids, etc, will be changed. Needs new brake lines and pads. The fuel line will be replaced, etc. Short term is to get it road worthy and put some miles on it. Long term I really don't know. I was planning on keeping the 560 until this car found me. In my old barn:

It looks like hood shocks are on the to do list!
![]() Cool car Paul. It will be really cool once you upgrade the AC and get it fixed up to what you want. Maybe some composite AC vents and body pieces.

dont forget that 82 car has that extra wiring harness that attaches to the back firewall..just in case you drop the motor. that thing cracks with the smallest forces.

I frankly don't know why I decided to do this again: Targa was the first reason, the connection here with a really fine man the second, then the fact that my parent were cousins the third.
I'll break even on the 560. That is all.

Very nice color. If the rebuild retained the old pistons, I believe they are 9.3:1. Also....narrower intake runners. more intake air velocity. Makes a difference. 964+ (20/21) cams work nice in that motor. Welcome back Dude (though you were not actually gone). I'm finally feeling the juices flowing. I'm in the process of installing a new headliner, raised spindles and custom valved shocks, etc. These are the absolute funnest cars to drive.
