I prefer nest over arlo. Simply because it does continuous recordidng. Arlo pro will only start recording if it detects motion or sound. I found this page about outdoor cams. Might help.. or not. haha. The only problem with nest aside from it's not wireless is that it will force you to subscribe. Arlo pro is wireless and has 7days worth of free storage.

I did buy the Moultrie A-30. And are pleased with it. It's got good response time meaning it goes quickly from standby to taking a 12 megapixel photo.
At the moment I've just got a lot of pic's of cats stalking around in the middle of the night LOL but I can imagine it working well when it's needed. |
