New factory splitters from FVD just arrived last week. They must have pulled some oldtimer out of retirement cause it took a couple months. Well worth the wait though. The Turbo "S" brake scoops came from Better Bodies and have a projector light. Interior done soon and then windows back in. I hope to get it up to Fontana Speedfest late next month.

Looking great Mark!

Seeing it more complete, I’m thinking you’ll do better with more period correct wheels (just my opinion). I think they had three price speedlines originally? Or BBS racing wheels with body color centers? Feels like the hard edges of those wheels clash a bit with the rounded shape of the car.

Look forward to seeing it soon!
Charles

You need to see them in person. The transparent charcoal finish is stunning and I like that you can see the machine marks. If BBS could duplicate I would have done them. Factory Speedlines not an option($$$).

Hey Mark,

Now that I’ve seen the wheels in person, I agree they look great on the car. But just in case, did you see this listing?

Bought a 996 GT3 last March and put GT2 clone up for sale here. Decided to keep the silver turbo longer and sold the GT3 to a customer. A few updates since like plaid seat centers from a seat dealer. Front wheels got a 1" wider outer lip making them 10" wide. Then put 275 R888r toyo up front instead of 235's. Car drives as good as it looks and having plenty of fun. Made 500hp on dyno at motor and 480lbs torque at 4200rpms. All on pump gas and 13lbs boost.
