				964 Not holding ignition key

Hi I have a 1990 C4 and the ignition is not holding the key, you can basically slide out the key when its started, and start the car with any type of key. Any ideas what has gone wrong? | ||

I would try a lock lubricant before taking it apart.

Might be able to fix it but it’s gonna have to be taken out, replacements are about $650 or might be able to get one off classifieds for $250 $300 ish.
