Identifying the electrical connector needed for Windscreen washer pump
Hi,
Ordered a new pump for my 84 model and the pump supplied has an electrical connector I am having a hard time identifying. The part ordered was 191-955-681-M36 which has a electrical connector that has the shape of a flat cylinder. I am hoping someone tell me what that connector is called please thanks in advance geoff

Geoff,
It looks like you received a pump for a later model Porsche. The part number you provided is not the same as the original '84 911 pump, which has a 928 part number. I have seen this same pump in my former '87 911 and current '86 911. Here's the parts diagram and the number ![]() ![]() Here's a picture of the pump (not my picture, taken from another thread on the forum) and you'll see on the top there are two basic spade style wire connections ![]() Maybe consider returning the pump you received and order the part number 928-628-074-01 and the two wires in the car will plug right in?

For that style pump, I assume maybe for the "intensive cleaning" on an 84
1x connector 999 650 190 40 2x Pins 999 652 871 22
