What properties of an oil (excluding "higher mileage"oils), might cause leaks to slow
What properties of an oil (excluding "higher mileage" oils), might cause leaks to slow or stop?
I am not referring to a change from a pre-existing synthetic, but instead switching to something like Kendall 20-50 from a regular oil. Since the switch, I have had a leak stop/slow. What's the theory here? Thanks __________________ 1969 911 E Coupe "Little Bull" "Horse"

The short answer is "a different additive package".

"Additives"? As in producing a differing flow rate? Qualitative flow rate at different temperatures?
