Anyway prior testing your 911 make sure you go for long hard drive to make the engine hot ,this way you have more chances to pass the test...if your number are not really way off too much.. Ivan |
Right looks like I have the right one. I have a few disconnected connectors
https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...740e234725.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...208a48a80f.jpg This one looks close but I suspect it's cruise control https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...84491a1254.jpg But judging by other pics and posts I've seen this plugged up one is the one. Two of the pins are shorted by the plug. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...b47e54387b.jpg Thanks for your help guys. Sent from my SM-G988B using Tapatalk |
1st pic is heater blower
3rd pic is only used once in factory for ref position of crankshaft. No longer used after. Don't know about the other two. Don't have them on my car (88 RoW Carrera). |

You have posted 4 pics, right?
- First pic is heater blower connector - Second pic (green connector) don't know what it is, never seen it. - Third pic is indeed the ref sensor connector used only once at factory - Fourth pic is presumably the O2 sensor connector, harness part to ECU. If so, you need to buy the very first sensor from ebay that you posted the other day and plug it there. But as said before, first check that you have the correct ECU that is able to manage O2 sensor, otherwise no good. My 88 RoW with 930/20 engine has no cat and was shipped with a premuffler without any O2 sensor and no harness for it. So I cannot tell for sure that this is correct. |
Yes, you're right, my apologies. Fourth pic was the sensor. So the sensor is fitted, it went in perfectly and the car is now behaving beautifully.
After a few shenanigans. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...d1d4fa0fa8.jpg Thanks for your help. Sent from my SM-G988B using Tapatalk |
