Porsche door striker rebuilder out there?

Porsche door striker rebuilder out there? Saw one on Facebook a few year go...Lost him.

I do them all the time but you can take them apart by pressing out the pins and bringing them to a local plater.

Nice plating work tru-6, often wondered if it woul be worth investing in those Caswell kits.
It’s a shame how things are these days, when you say “drop off at a local plater” I recall having a small shop next door to a place where I used to work. Every now and then we could go around back a 9:00 with a cold six pack and the guy there would drop a few Harley nuts and bolts into the chrome vat, have them ready by 5:00.
Unfortunately due to EPA and local ordinances most small shops were shuttered or moved from big city.

Don’t buy the kit just get the zinc plating solution, brightener and degreaser and then buy some sodium dichromate and zinc anode off eBay. Also need a dc power supply.
