How much oil will I lose?
I am sure this has been covered before, but I can't find it.
On a 915 gearbox, how much oil am I going to lose if I remove and replace the reverse light switch?

No 915 have magnetic back up light switches. Once u have access to the switch you will loose almost no oil. The magnetic sensor is for the speedometer

Virtually no oil lost, I also gained access by raising the switch side of the car.

OK, so I must have a different version of the 915.
Once I removed the switch, oil started pouring out, and out came the reverse pin. There was no way to gracefully insert the switch and the flopping pin with all that oil in my face so I had to back out, and I had to open the drain plug to get all the oil to come out so it will stop at the reverse switch.
