Air Pump Head Injectors Rusted-- Help

I am trying to remove the head injectors from the air pump on my 3.0L but they are seriously rusted in place. I have tried all the sprays. Should I try heat. It does'nt look like I can get heat to the left sided ones. What if one breaks? What if one strips? Can I just cut the tube near the muffler and cap or plug the line until I pull the motor? thanks

Yes, You can just cut the tube after the check valve and weld it closed. Then when you have better access unscrew the tubing assembly from the injectors first. That requires a 14mm backup wrench on the air injector to keep it from turning. Carbon build up on those air injector threads make them difficult to remove from the heads. I would spray with wd-40 and allow to penetrate as breaking the tubes off at the threads would not be cool as you have surmised. They absolutely will brake off at the threads if forced.

I didn't respond already because I never-seized mine at the rebuild.. so they came out easy 40k miles later. The tubes are frail, and I guess the soft steel threads could be kinda welded to the head. I've seen the tubes snipped and crushed with a pliers.
It's an executive decision on how to deal with it now.
good luck.....Ron
