the ultimate cabriolet thread!

you knew this was coming...and for those who don't like the look of the cab, you dont know what you're missing when it comes to driving in one on a beautiful summer day.

Yes, I did know -- despite all my fears. Ok, I let my leased silver Boster S go back, but I still have this..... note the structural integity of the body....

Isn't this bar supposed to go between the fold and not on top of it? Please correct me if I'm wrong... I'd hate to think I've been putting my top down incorrectly all this time.

Give it a shot... it'll fold the headliner down nice and tight. Those two straps on either side won't flap around either.

now i feel like a real idiot, for almost 5 years, i've been folding it down this way, and always wondered why that stupid bar would swing up at highway speeds and block my rear-view mirror.

this one deserves a big:

DAH!

the headliner is beat to shreds right now...probably due in part to my leaving that bar out flopping around all the time.

fun fun fun

Damn, I have been leaving my bar out as well. Honestly did not know what to do with it, it just settled there when the top went down. And those little straps on the side seemed to be intended to keep the bar at a particular position once up to speed.

Whatever.
