-2 wheel offset? BBS

I'm looking at a set of wheels that the seller claims have fit on an SC

He said the offsets are 8x16 e11 (Which he had on the front)
and a 9x16 -2 (Which he never used)

Anyone know if that is corrcet? I have an early 911 with RS flares

I doubt it - should be 23-26mm offset in the front and 11-16mm offset in the rears - that is what my bbs offsets are.

Ask him to send you a picture of the wheel. You'll know right away if the -2 o/s is true. The wheel will have a rather deep "dish" to it.

If it is indeed a -2 o/s? I don't think it'll fit your car. The negative o/s would push the outboard wheel edge too far outboard and you'd have fender-tire clearance problems.

And the +11 o/s wheel would not fit the front either. This 16x8 offset is typically what is used on the REAR of a SC or Carrera. If you were to mount the wheel in front, the wheel sits ~ 1/2 in. further outboard than the typical maximum 16x8 that people run up front.

I find it surprising that the guy said he ran them on a SC. Both offsets mentioned are beyond what is known to fit on a SC-bodied car.
