I've been following this thread for a long time. Never any dealings with MM, so no dog in the fight.
I'm just curious - were there ever any satisfied customers? Were these guys really able to keep a pure scam going over decades, and presumably thousands of customers? My family was and is in the auto repair business. I can't imagine it would take to many actual fraudulent jobs to put that business, out of business. If every job was a scam - it boggles the mind. |

IIRC, this has been going on since the old "Porschelist" days, and that was in the mid to late 90s. It's simply amazing.

Truth be told
It amazes me the level that some people will go to to get revenge. Is this about justice or is this about revenge? Is this truly about warning others to stay away? Or is this about being played? Anyway you look at it, the Marks family got the best of each of you. You waste your time on here posting your complaints and venting about how unfair life has been to you and your precious Porsche engine. Be thankful you can afford a Porsche, others on this board cannot. Here's some good advice: get over it and move on with your life! No amount of money or property is worth wasting your life over. And guess what we're not affiliated with the Marks family nor are we in the State of California. Your assumptions have had each of you believing we were someone who we weren't.

No amount of money or property is worth wasting your life over. And guess what we're not affiliated with the Marks family nor are we in the State of California. The greatest arguments were the ones with ourselves. Your assumptions have had each of you believing we were someone who we weren't. Even the greatest devil's advocates must retire Sucker Fish, Catfish, Janus Rome, Janna James, Marx Brothers (clever play on Marks Brothers don't you think?), and others that can be used at a drop of a hat as we say here in Texas. Now, if you don't mind, I've got a life to live.

Trying to recoup funds, parts, service that was stolen from you is not revenge Jerry.
That is trying to exact some justice. You never stole from me but in your brilliant postings motivated me to keep this thread up and relevant so anyone searching for Jerry Marks, Jerry Marx can be directed to this thread. Google this Jerry jerry marks motormeister Last edited by Reiver; 05-14-2014 at 06:49 PM.. |

I beg your pardon, but shouldn't the interests of MM have been providing the best service they could offer, instead of "getting the best" of their customers? Quote:

If the original business was registered to the father, and Jr. is the owner of the new one, there is not much you can do.

kidrock - now that is some excellent work!
Ha- yep, I noted Little Jon(son) Jacob's lame attempt at a dig toward me, and had to chuckle at the middle school vigor of his "you can't afford it" post. It's also hilarious how Jerry Marks Jr., through his many screen names here, repeatedly claims that he/they are not associated with MM and "their" posts are but a sham when even a 3rd grade reader would likely be able to call BS on that - really says something about his lack of testicular fortitude!reiver, your motivation for posting in this thread is exactly the same as mine - I've never had dealings with MotorMeister (having 25+ years of experience with high performance, low production machines, I knew instantly that those guys were crooks the first time I saw an add of theirs on eBay claiming a +/- $3K 911 engine overhaul), but can't seem to just sit by and watch those turds make fun of the people they have worked over. I called them one time in 97. The guy I talked to said the $2,995 price could go up at any time. Similar to a high volume carper installing company.
