I have known about MM for at least 15 yrs. It is unfortunate that PCA kept allowing them to advertise until only a couple of yrs ago.
There are several fly by night VW overhaul joints as well. I do not care to be sued so I will not mention them.

I like how the greatly lauded post 743 makes zero claims of quality or competence. Instead it simply claims that any suit will be met with a counter suit of equal or greater proportions. Gee, that's exactly the sort of relationship I'm looking for with my engine builder!

I'm staggered that anyone sends their money to these clowns. A quick google search should scare away anyone with even an ounce of common sense. If you send your Porsche engine and money to a builder without even doing a google search for feedback, then I suppose you get what you deserve. Buyer beware.....

Perhaps off-tangent, but MM does have a local competitor (L.A offers several business options to be cheated). PS Racing in Burbank (CA) has an equally similar, MM-like reputation. It seems their specialty is complete cars rather than mere engines, I think to avoid infringing on MM's trademarked "repair" procedures. Nothing personally experienced, but from others closely related to their scams.
