Fuel Pressure Regulator - Access ? (3.2)

Fuel Pressure Regulator on a 3.2 (back left of engine compartment at end of fuel rail near cylinder #3). I've removed the heater blower and ducting and some other bits, but I doubt I can get at all the nuts/screws required to replace this thing.

Q: Can this be realistically replaced without a partial engine drop?

I see one possible move: it looks like a bracket might hold the FPR onto the engine, and the one screw holding the bracket is accessible (barely). That may be a bad assumption though. The screw is visible in the photo below, poking through.

Q2: Can that bracket be loosened via that screw, and the FPR assembly raised up above the intake manifold for easier access to the hoses, nuts, screws, etc. ?

Thanks for your help, Dan

remove the bracket that holds the three sensors and then there is a bracket that holds down the FRP. look real close and use a mirror and you'll see the bracket

I R&R this part with a protomotive FPR. What a byatch it is. Another item to have in your aresenal is a proper crows foot socket for the line. This took me hours, with lots of cussing. The protomotive FTR is even bigger, and requires bending of the bracket, which made it even worse to put it back!

Yeah, I'm just dreading this thing. Freezing my *ss off b/c I have no heat until I do it, so I've got a little incentive.

I've got a set of crow's feet, but they're thick and I'm sure won't fit properly (until I grind it down).

Thanks gents

I must be missing something. If you undo the fuel connections and the two nuts holding the bracket down the whole reg and bracket comes out.
I've had mine out twice and it takes like five minutes. No crows foot needed, just a crescent hammer to seperate from the bracket after it's on your bench.
