nord lock washers

Can someone direct me to the thread that had a video of nord lock washers. My search was unsuccessful It was a had many illustration's of different types of securing devices IE: nylock..safety wire . double nut. etc. and why you can get the proper torque with there washers. I believe demonstrations were correct and I'm ordering an assortment. Maybe the tread was about CV units and how easily the bolts would loosen up

EMCDAN Say thanks so much for your reply. I noticed in the thread you were using them on your ERP spring plate. That was my wish as well and use them on the bolts that hold the clam shell on to the chassis. I had never heard of them before and can think of countless uses. Maybe they do cost more but what is the cost for peace of mind. I don't have enough time to always recheck on items I'm not presently working on.

Boy Oh Boy !! Is this site great !! Thanks everyone for your expertise and willingness to share it. It's difficult to get accurate information when you just call some guys shop and ask Q's because they have to make money while at work ie: my lawer charges by the .10 th hour on the phone
